Sat. September 7: Dan Cobb
Dan Cobb is a guitarist who regularly integrates music into his classes at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he is a Professor of American Studies. He is especially passionate about the music of the “Long 1960s,” and counts Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Buffalo Springfield among his most important musical influences. His performances feature a blend of acoustic and electric covers of songs written by a wide range of rock, folk, and blues artists, as well as his own original work. You can hear some of his original tunes here.
